I’m officially writing my first blog post! Yesterday we took Jude for his 2 week appointment and he weighed 7 lb. 14 and a half ounces. He loves to eat and we were glad to know he’s eating enough!
Theres a million little things I love about Jude but a few of my favorites are:
His fuzzy head of hair, his bright eyes, giving him his sponge-baths while singing little songs to him, seeing Andrew hold him and take such good care of our boy, and kissing his chubby little cheeks while he makes funny faces.

Random fact:
In the two weeks since we’ve been home, we have used 212 diapers.

It’s happening already…I’m one of those parents who can’t stop talking about my kid. I mean it’s hard not too since he’s probably the cutest baby boy ever.

Well the big day finally arrived - Jude David Fouche came into the world yesterday afternoon!

Around 4am Monday morning contractions started and by 3 in the afternoon Jess gave birth to our firstborn. She was a champ going totally natural with no pain killers at all. Jude is healthy and happy and Mom and Dad are already sleep deprived and will probably remain that way for a while. There are some pictures below. I’m warning you ahead of time that you have never seen a baby boy as cute this one.
