Sunday morning dutch baby
Us Fooshes have been sick since Thursday, so we’ve had some cozy times inside this weekend as we sniffle and sip copious amounts of tea and juice. Yesterday morning called for a special breakfast though, so I made a dutch baby with fresh strawberries on the side. I have so many memories of eating dutch baby growing up- and as Jude gobbled it down yesterday I was thinking how it will become a staple breakfast in our house now too. Very easy to make- I had already packed my recipe box with my Mum’s recipe for it but found a similar one on the Whole Foods website that has you make it in a cast iron skillet. We always made ours in a casserole dish which works the same, but I kind of liked the way it worked in the skillet so I might have to change the Radebaugh version just a bit!:) Anyway- Click Here for the dutch baby recipe.

Jess,
This looks so good and so simple to make. I’m looking for more simple breakfasts. My favortites have been an plane rice cake w/peanut butter. Also toast and berry smoothy. I was going to try a duch baby today for our breakfast but my wonderful husband invited me to take a walk around the Arcata Marsh and get bagels together. I’ll try the dutch baby tomorrow for our breakfast. see you in a few weeks/month or so -Anna
