Jude was yelling down the stairs for our friends long after they left today! Erika & Audrey came for the week and the kids had a blast playing together (& were in a constant state of toy or food envy for what the other one had!) I loved having the time with Erika- she’s an amazing friend & mommy, Audrey is such a sweetie pie.

We went to parks & shops downtown,

for walks with the kiddos in the wagon,

lots of time in the sun,

baked a yummy strawberry rubarb crisp & home made granola
(recipes coming soon)
and even got a little crafty with some benches from the thrift store we found-

We found 2 of them for $10 each that we painted, distressed, and plan on decoupaging an image of a vintage looking strawberry once we find it.

We had a wonderful week with the McCann girls- so glad they could come!

We headed over to Lakeside, Montana for a couple days where our
friends, the West’s, live and work in Youth With A Mission. It’s beautiful there!
They live about 5 minutes from the lake, where their 2 boys and Jude loved
throwing rocks and wading into the cold water.

We knew Molly and Jeremy from Kona, Hawaii, where we staffed under
and with them off and on for about 4 years. They are an amazing couple
and we had a blast catching up with them and getting to know their 3 kiddos.
Their youngest is a little girl name Eden- she’s sooo cute!

It seems this summer will be a whirlwind of fun and travel.
We had some of our youth group over tonight for a BBQ and
my friend Erika and her sweet girl Audrey will be here this week- yay!

Happy Father’s day to my dearest Papa who had endless patience and love for me, reading me countless stories and truly a kid at heart, knowing how to have fun and laugh, to not take life too seriously while at the same time living with deep conviction of faith and love.
And to my hubby who is such a wonderful Papa to our sweet Jude- you are truly the most amazing man I could ask for to partner with in this crazy life and bring up our kiddos together. I’m proud of you and so thankful for your love and laughter.

Happy 34th Anniversary to my Mum and Papa today!

Here’s our last couple weeks in photos- Andrew’s brother Ben here for a visit, moving in with my parents here to help,
and a lovely time with our favorite Brits- Dan and Alisha Sanvicens.

Uncle Ben… here for a week after his trip to Cambodia. Jude loved talking about cars with Ben every chance he could get!

Casa De Fouche!

My longtime friend, Alisha, and her husband Dan came for a visit! They live in London (Dan is originally from England) and we haven’t seen them since their wedding, 2 1/2 years ago. A wonderful time with them- we’re so thankful they could come and hope to see them again soon.
