On the menu tonight
Jude and I went for a walk this morning to a nearby flower, plant, and produce stand. Our house overlooks acres of farmland- pumpkins, corn, grapes, fruit trees, etc. Most of them are local family farms that I’m excited to support and get some great seasonal produce from. Anyhow- we got zucchini, lemon to add to our sun tea, onion, peaches, and two free tomato plants that the ladies were tired of watering! Tonight we’ll saute some zucchini in a little olive oil and salt and pepper to have along side penne pasta with fresh pesto sauce from the farmer’s market on Saturday, and sauteed mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes. Off to plant my tomatoes!

Hooray for the tomato plants. With proper watering they should do great over there. Nothing like fresh tomatoes. I love those local produce stands. It’s awesome that they’re so close!!
