Turn on your Christmas music everyone (or if you’re like me and you’ve already been listening to it for weeks- just keep it up:) the Christmas season is officially here!!! Tomorrow we’re off to scout out the cheapest nicest tree our cash flow can afford and make the house smell like fresh pine! Don’t you love our eloquent English language with words like ‘nicest’? But I digress… anyway- a little vote that you can cast by leaving yours in the comment box: Multi-colored lights or White lights on a Christmas tree? There are two preferences here in the Fouche household so we do both, alternating years. And you?

We got a permit from the USDA for $10 for our tree. It was so fun cutting our own tree. Also we have red, green and white lights. Happy Holidays!

$10?! That’s so cheap. We’re hoping to cut our own this year too- we used to when I was a kid- so fun. I like white lights usually, but I think if I found red, green, and white lights we could find our happy medium!! I’ll have to keep my eye out.

I got mine at target. They weren’t expensive. $7 I think.

We have white lights outside, and colored lights inside. No room for a large tree in our cozy home, without feeling crowded out… However, we found a cute (just under 4 ft), lighted tree today, and I decorated it with small, pretty ornaments. Our house is now filled with Christmas decorations. I love it. I’m listening to Christmas music as I write this.

I say multi-colored AND white lights!
A healthy combo of both….then again I tend to love the busy-ness of a tacky overly done christmas tree. I’m sure either way it’ll look lovely, just so long as you have “A Charlie Brown Christmas” playing in the background.
