Papa’s train table

I have to give props to my hubby who busted out his woodworking skills and built Jude a train table! It’s made out of scrap wood we had in the garage from the previous owner but it looks great to me- I’m totally impressed and Jude loves it. One of his all time favorite things to do is to go to ‘the bookstore’ which is Barnes & Noble, because they have a Thomas the Train set on a table. He got a wooden Thomas track and trains for Christmas and loves to play on his own train table at home now. Next up on Andrew’s list is a console table for our upstairs hall.

In baby news, I had a check up yesterday, at 30 weeks along, and baby is doing well. He was moving a lot, as always, and the midwife remarked as she tried to get his heartbeat that she hadn’t seen a baby so active at this point in a pregnancy! He definately seems to be awake and kicking more than Jude was, and I remember thinking how active Jude felt at the time. Maybe Jude will have one crazy little brother, we’ll see!:)

  1. Wow - that’s a great train table. I’m impressed with Andrew’s work! Way to go! I can just picture Jude at ‘work & play’ with his train set & table!!

  2. FUN to hear the baby update! I can’t even believe that you are 30 weeks along already! And isn’t it reassuring that baby is so active?! We’re 25 weeks, and baby is also very active…its so nice to know that she “knocks” to tell us that she’s okay in there!
Great idea with the train table too! Looks great!
