Painting & 2 year old silliness
Yesterday I set Jude up to paint & he did about 10 paintings with water colors & then I let him experiment with oil paints on a big canvas, hoping to have a new piece of art for our downstairs wall. I gave him the colors that would go with our existing wall paint & filled in a tiny bit of the border at the end so it was all covered with paint, but other than that the painting is all his & turned out so fun! Pictures to come of that when it’s dry & hanging on the wall.
Here’s a video of my sweet 2 year old from earlier today…

He is so darn adorable!!!

He’s so adorable! I’m so glad you share his growing up with us with videos ans blogs! Wish we lived a few hours closer so we could see all of you more often. We miss you lots.
Remember your angst over his hair cut? Well dad had me cut his hair today (take of 4 inches or so) well, needless to say it’s too short to get into a pony tail now, and he needs to see a professional to do the top since the back ended up beautifully layered about 2′ below his collar length, but I chickened out of doing the top dor fear of ending up with a shaved head to rescue the miscuts. He asked me to cut it, I tried to talk him out of it…

It’s so fun to have a way to share his every day antics with all of the fam who lives far away!
I had a great chuckle over the hair cutting incident Merilyn- you’ll have to send pictures when he has it ‘finished’:) since Andrew hasn’t seen him without a pony tail for years!!
