Well in case you think I paid Andrew to say all those nice things about me you’re right. I pay him in beef. That’s his favorite currency:). Really though, sometimes I’m blown away by the grace and patience of my hubby- I feel like I have so much to work on yet he sees the good in me. That’s one of the keys to a successful marriage I think- saying ’so what’ to the not so great little things that one could get hung up on (we all have so many of them anyway) and looking instead at all the things we did marry that person for. Our spouses will never be perfect, so why expect them to be? Be amazed at the person that chooses to love you day in and day out after they’ve seen you first thing in the morning and seen your most tired, cranky self and love you still! So much of life cannot be in our control- so let it go, change what can be changed. (Not the other person- but yourself!) Thanks Andrew Fouche, for choosing to see the best in me and loving me so well. Mother’s Day was a sweet day for me- I woke up so happy to be a mama, to be with my beautiful boys and their papa, to have my Mom and Grammy visit, and spend time in the sunshine.
