busy bugs :: fire man hats
Owie has taken a liking to Busy Bug- the little red, white, and black bug that hangs from our gymini. Jude use to love Busy Bug as a baby as well, and like Jude, Owen smiles at the bug like he’s an old friend.
Meanwhile, Jude has taken a liking to his fire man hat. He put it by his bed before his nap and it was the first thing he thought of when he woke up. The fire man also loves art… while wearing his hat:). When I asked him what he was drawing he said, ‘one hundred and one hundred and one hundred.’ Of course!
On my mind since Andrew left- the power of a few sweet and encouraging words. As he kissed me goodbye he thanked me for taking such good care of our boys. Those words have been in my head all day, making me feel loved and appreciated. When is the last time someone made your day with a few nice words? When was the last time you made someone’s day by saying something encouraging? If you can’t remember, then do it today!
